General Manager's presentation

Michel Fredric joined Heritage Le Telfair in November 2015 and occupies the position of General Manager for Heritage Le Telfair, Heritage C Beach Club and Heritage Le Chateau.

Michel, who is French Mauritian, has over 25 years’ experience in the field of hospitality, firstly in catering and then in hotel management.

His career began in 1989 when he worked for 3 years with famous chefs in Michelin starred restaurants, such as Collonges-au-Mont-d’Or with Paul Bocuse or even in l’Auberge de l’Eridan with Marc Veyrat.

From 1992 to 2008, he held the position of Executive Chef in luxury hotels in St Barthélemy in the Caribbean and then in The Residence Mauritius hotel.

In 2008, Michel was promoted to the position of Assistant F&B Manager. In 2009, he was appointed “Executive Assistant Manager for Projects and Developments” and was responsible for developing and implementing processes for The Residence Maldives and The Residence Zanzibar projects.

In 2010, he was appointed Resident Manager at The Residence Zanzibar and played an active role in its successful opening in May 2011, before being promoted to General Manager in 2014.

Michel therefore has many years of experience in the Tourism and Hospitality sector.
