Boutique Assistant

Main Responsibilities:

  • Describe product features and details accurately
  • Adapt display as per day theme/festivity
  • Handle and monitor of guests complaints and the relevant follow up action required
  • Interact with guests to obtain feedback and suggestions for improvement
  • Answer any query from guests by having a sound knowledge of all items offered for sale
  • Recommend, give advise and guidance on product selection to guests
  • Ensure sales target are met, provide optimum customer service and assist to increase company’s growth and revenue through sales maximization
  • Make inventory of equipment and material for stock control
  • Report any breakage, defect, loss of operating equipments and accessories to Superior
  • Ensure the follow up of billing
  • Follow the set procedures for opening and closing of the boutique
  • Ensure that the boutique is always clean and tidy
  • Prepare receipt for guests when a sale is closed and record the sale (cash or credit)
  • Prepare cash and credit summary, balance the account and submit all cash, receipts and credit summary to receptionist on a daily basis
  • Ensure that all sale figures are input on the system
  • Ensure sufficient stock of items at all times
  • Make requisitions of items when minimum stock is reached
  • Properly store the items to avoid any wastage
  • Liaise with Superior at Head Office for all orders or any matter arising
  • Ensure all items have appropriate price tag

Candidate’s Profile:

  • SC level or equivalent and/or prior professional experience
  • Prior experience as sales girl in shop or boutique
  • Fluent in English and French, any other language will be an advantage
