People Operations Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and attend Health & Safety Committees, Fire drills, Welfare Committee, CSR events and action accordingly
  • Attend to employees’ grievances and analyse problems within legal and company parameters
  • Assist and advise GM and HODs on all HR & IR matters
  • Ensure maintenance of HR records and personnel files as per audit guidelines
  • Ensure the payment and reconciliation of salaries, overtime, allowances, pension and medical schemes are done within the set timeframes
  • Ensure the procurement of uniforms / accessories and assets are done as per set SOPs and approved budget
  • Ensure preparation, production and update of statistics and other HR reports and ensure that exceptions reports of attendance system are checked and updated regularly
  • Assist GM and HRM to set the annual operating budget (with HR Analyst) and ensure that it is strictly adhered to and managed on a monthly basis
  • Communicate, implement and enforce HR Policies & procedures as agreed with MHRPS
  • Implement and monitor the reward system in line with group policies, etc.

Candidate’s Profile:

  • Diploma/Degree in HRM or any other acceptable qualifications
  • Previous experience in industrial relations management and employee mediations management
  • Proven labour & civil law proficiency
  • Good interpretation of applicable laws ERA2008 / HCIRO
  • Fully conversant with Hospitality processes 
  • Knowledge of Disciplinary committee structure management
