Public Area Cleaner

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure towels (where applicable) are always available and fresh, clean, neatly folded & displayed
  • Ensure that soap, shower gel, moisturiser and any other products are replenished and neatly displayed
  • Clean all designated areas
  • Ensure efficient use of materials to minimise costs
  • Ensure proper daily hand-over at the end of the shift to the Public Area Supervisor
  • Throughout the day, ensure that the following items are checked and cleaned in the main lobby and public areas:
    – Ashtrays and bins
    – Any debris and rubbish removed
    – Chairs, sofas, cushions and seating areas are always neatly arranged
    – Tables and surface areas are cleaned and wiped
  • Clean flooring and carpets
  • Polish Glass, windows, mirrors, walls and woodwork
  • Clean Restrooms
  • Clean and maintain Food & Beverage outlets as per set cleaning schedule
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment and machinery are maintained in working order and are serviced as per schedule
    Report any problems or technical defects to the immediate supervisor

Candidate’s Profile:

  • Theoretical knowledge (Form III) and/or prior professional experience
  • At least 1 Year of experience in hotels or resorts
  • Must understand English and French
