Purchasing Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist superior to conduct Performance Appraisal and identify necessary training measures of respective Team Members
  • Coordinate & supervise activities in his/her department
  • Ensure day to day follow up of all purchases of Heritage Resorts
  • Organise regular meetings with purchasing team
  • Organise regular meetings with operations
  • Ensure follow up of purchasing projects
  • Ensure that procurement of materials and services comply with the duly authorized purchase policies and procedures
  • Compare suppliers on their product, price, quality and service and make the most effective choice on specific purchase
  • Consolidate and control all budgeted purchase requirements
  • Develop and implements purchasing and contract management instructions, policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all group deals are respected in terms of prices and quality, etc.
  • Involve in international sourcing 
  • Involve in HACCP and GREEN KEY Certifications
  • Group Analysis and Reports / Group Negotiations
  • Involve in sustainable procurement and projects
  • Responsible for contract negotiations
  • Ensure administration, coordination and accountability of warehouses

Candidate’s Profile:

  • Higher School Certificate with Accounting at “A” Level or equivalent
  • Certificate or Diploma in Purchasing & Supply Management from a recognised institution
  • Professional Certification of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS)
  • At least 3 years’ working experience in a similar position
  • Comfortable in delivering fast track purchasing project
  • Fluent both in English and French
