Recreation Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate & supervise activities in his/her department
  • Handle and monitor of guests complaints and the relevant follow up action required
  • Adapt the entertainment activities as per category of guests
  • Ensure Guests’ / Repeaters’ satisfaction at all times and be totally aware of their preferences
  • Establish and maintain effective interpersonal relations and takes active interest in the welfare, safety & development of Team Members
  • Interact regularly with guest to obtain feedbacks for improvement
  • Set the annual operating budget and ensures that it is strictly adhered to and managed on a monthly basis
  • Deal and negotiate with freelances and external group for organisation of shows or other entertaining events
  • Develop strategies and special events to promote sales Establish cost management plan
  • Supervise attendance of team members and ensure that there is complete coverage at all times during the shift.
  • Make inventory of materials and equipment for stock control.
  • Report any breakages, defects, loss of operating equipments and accessories to hotel Manager
  • Manage each Business Unit as independent profit centre
  • Prepare and communicate the S&L Operations plan and monitors its implementation
  • Establish in line with the quality manager of all quality procedures and follow-up
  • Consult daily events to take note of particulars of residing guests such as countries of residence and age group
  • Responsible in making announcement for shows
  • Responsible for “mise en place” of activities as per programme
  • Ensure that Business Units are in good running condition

Candidate’s Profile:

  • HSC level or equivalent and professional training
  • Diploma or BSC in related field
  • At least 6 years working experience in Sports & Leisure
  • Computer literacy including hotel management system
  • Fluent in English and French both written and spoken, a third language would be an advantage
